- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I have been with VA Farm Bureau Insurance for over ten years. My 22 year old son lives at home, works and goes to college. He got in trouble at a party last October. As a result his drivers license was suspended. After ten years without a phone call or email from my agent. Farm Bureau canceled my auto insurance. When I called to find out why I was canceled they told me it was because of my sons two tickets and the suspension of his license, which is now re-instated. I told them he was getting his own insurance and would no longer be on my insurance. My wife and I have had no tickets or accidents in the last five years. They said I could keep my coverage but it would go from about $1000 every six months to $2700 every six months. I am extremely disappointed with Farm Bureau. They have terrible service, Heather, my agent never reached out, not even an email. My last insurance company called me whenever there was any issue with my policy. I did not know until almost one month later that they canceled my coverage. I thank God for looking out for me, because Farm Bureau surely did not. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone who likes personalized service. PS, go look at their website it looks like a ten year old built it 20 years ago, it is an extremely poor site.By m jonez, May 21, 2017
